5. How change package format on linux backtrack 2 & 3


Additional file format type information on backtrack:

  1. mo2lzm: This program is used to change the old slax package -->mo into slax module that is currently used is lzm.
  2. tgz2lzm: This program is used to change the old slax package -->tgz into slax module that is currently used is lzm.
  3. deb2lzm: This program is used to change the old yag slax package -->deb into slax module that is currently used is lzm.
  4. dir2lzm: This program is used to change the old yag slax package -->dir is a module that is currently used slax lzm ie.

how to change it is

  1. mo2lzm namafile.mo namafile.lzm
  2. tgz2lzm namafile.tgz namafile.lzm
  3. deb2lzm namafile.deb namafile.lzm
  4. dir2lzm namafile.dir namafile.lzm

but if you have a format file like this

  1. rpm2tgz: This program is used to change the old yag slax package -->rpm into slax module that is currently used the tgz
  2. cpan2tgz: This program is used to change the old yag slax package -->cpan is a slax module that is currently used the tgz
